DESCRIPTION:
The Gloucester High School Docksiders is a jazz band made up of local Gloucester students. They perform regularly around the city during events like the Arts Festival, block parties, sidewalk bazar and parades as well as their own coffeehouses and annual wine tasting. They are welcomed back annually to play at the Topsfield Fair and also perform a spring concert at the Shalin-Liu Performance Center in Rockport. A particular talented trombonist I know is in the band (my daughter), and I volunteer my time to create interesting and fun posters, postcards, tickets and flyers for their events and social media outlets.
